PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's hockey forwards
Tanner Adams (Northport, N.Y.) and
Logan Sawyer (Orangeville, Ont.) were named Hockey East Third-Team All-Stars on Friday, March 13.
Adams led the Friars in conference scoring this season with 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points, with 16 of those points coming in the second half. The junior posted a career-high with four points on a goal and three assists at New Hampshire on Feb. 6. Overall in 2025-26, Adams has 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points with a +8 rating. He was named Hockey East Player of the Week on Feb. 9 for his five-point performance that week.
Sawyer led all Hockey East players with five game-winning goals this season in league play and totaled 11 goals and seven assists with a +11 rating in Hockey East action. The sophomore scored overtime goals on the road at Boston College (Jan. 16) and at Maine (Jan. 31), earning Player of the Week honors on Jan. 19. Overall, he finished tied for the team lead in scoring with 26 points on 13 goals and 13 assists.
