- The Friars got off to a strong start in the opening 20 minutes, outshooting the Huskies by a 14-8 margin.

Sarah Davies (Mississauga, Ont.) netted the lone goal of the period to give Providence a 1-0 lead on her fourth tally of the season.
Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ont.) and
Cristina Cavaliere (Mississauga, Ont.) earned the assists on the Davies goal.
- Northeastern's Stryker Zablocki evened the game at 1-1 on the power play at 5:51 of the second period.
- Zablocki struck again at 11:54 before Eloise Caron extended the Huskies lead to 3-1 at 14:09 of the second period.

Jessie Pellerin (Bowmanville, Ont.) got the Friars back within one at 3-2 2ith 1:57 left in the period.
Lauren Mack (Excelsior, Minn.) and
Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y.) earned the assists.
- Allie Lalonde responded to re-gain the two-goal lead for Northeastern after two periods.
- Zablocki completed the hat trick at the 5:53 mark of the third period.
- The Friars are now 3-8-0 against ranked opponents this season.
