PROVIDENCE, R.I. The USTFCCCA released its latest Regional and National Coaches' Poll on October 22. The Providence College women's cross country team is ranked No. 1 in the Northeast Region and No. 12 in the nation. The Friar men's cross country team is ranked seventh in the Northeast Region.
The Providence College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Princeton Fall Classic at the Meadows Campus at Princeton University on Friday, October 18. The women's team placed second of 22 teams (65 points) overall and was led by senior
Kimberley May (Auckland, New Zealand) who won the race in a time of 19:16.3. For her efforts, May was named BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week. The Friar men placed 10th of 22 teams and were paced by senior
Michael Morgan (Sligo, Ireland). Morgan finished 22nd in a time of 23:22.8.
The Friars will return to action on Friday, October 25 at the Central Connecticut State University Mini Meet in New Britain, Conn. at 3:00 p.m.
