PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College swimming & diving programs completed a weekend of competition with a dual meet at Fairfield University on Saturday, Oct. 19 in Fairfield, Conn. The men's team was defeated, 228-68, and the women's team was defeated 212-85.

Annie Gathof earned two first-places finishes on the day, marking the lone victories of the meet for Providence. She claimed wins in the 100 SC meter butterfly (1:05.82) and the 200 SC meter butterfly (2:25.96.
Providence returns to action on Oct. 26 with a home meet against Iona University at Taylor Natatorium.
