PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's and women's swimming & diving teams hosted Iona in dual meet action on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Taylor Natatorium in Providence, R.I. The women's team earned a 197-101 victory, while the men's team was defeated by the Gaels, 161-133.
The women's team claimed a total of 12 first-place finishes on the day, winning the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay and 11 individual events.
Annie Gathof led the way with three first-place finishes, while also swimming the first leg of the Medley Relay.

On the men's side,
Alex Beauchene was a multi-event winner, claiming first in the 200 SC Meter Free and the 100 SC Meter Freestyle. The Friar men's team claimed five first-place finishes overall.
