Women's Tennis Participates In The ITA Regionals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Providence College women's tennis team participated in the ITA Regionals hosted by Harvard University from Oct. 10-13 in Cambridge, Mass.

Camila Barrera and Elise Leik each competed in singles play for the Friars. Barrera fell to Erin Ha of Yale, 6-2, 6-2 while Leik dropped a 6-0, 6-3 decision to Cameron Didion of UConn. In doubles action, Allison Root and Flora Eidson scored an 8-5 victory over Anya Kunar/Carina Cristobal of Colgate. Root and Eidson fell to Hofflander/Peus of Brown in the Round of 32, 8-2.

The Friars are back in action on Oct. 19 with a home match against Bryant University at 11 a.m.
