Reichen Kirchmair scored the Friars' lone goal, while Hope Walinski finished the day with 17 saves.

BELFAST, Northern Ireland. – The Providence College women's hockey team lost to Princeton University, 6-1, on Friday, Jan. 5 at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) scored the Friars' lone goal, while Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the day with 17 saves.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
 
-Princeton struck first 4:11 into the first period when Issy Wunder scored with help from Emerson O'Leary and Sarah Fillier.
 
-At the 10:40 mark, Princeton's Gabby Kim scored, 2-0. Wunder and Fillier assisted the play.
 
-The Tigers went up 3-0 when Wunder scored with 30 seconds left in the first period. Fillier and O'Leary were each credited with an assist.
 
-Five minutes into the second period, Fillier converted on a power play (4-0) with help from O'Leary.
 
-One minute later, Teja Gatfield assisted Sarah Paul to the Tigers' fifth goal.
 
-Paul extended Princeton's lead to six with a power play goal at the 13:49 mark of the second period. Kate Monihan and Annie Kuehl assisted the play.
 
-Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) scored the Friars' lone goal 13 seconds into the third period, making the final score 6-1. Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) and Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.) were each credited with an assist.

Mireille Kingsley (Sudbury, Ontario) finished the day with 10 saves, while Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished with 17 saves.
