PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie against Boston College on Friday, Jan. 26 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) scored the lone goal for the Friars, while Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished with 28 saves.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
-Both teams skated through first period scoreless.
-The Eagles' struck first with a goal by Molly Jordan at the 13:14 mark of the second period. Abby Newhook and Jansen Lucas were each credited with an assist.
-Grace Shirley (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) and Cristina Cavaliere (Mississuaga, Ontario) assisted Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) to a power play goal, 1-1, with one minute remaining in the second period.
-Both teams skated through third period scoreless.
-Boston won the shootout, 1-0, after three rounds for the extra point in hockey East standings.
-Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 28 saves.
