PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College men's soccer earned it's first BIG EAST win of the season on Sept. 29 on Chapey Field after defeating DePaul, 4-0.
Brendan McSorley (Randolph, N.J),
Rodrigo Vaza (Torres Vedras, Portugal), and
Pearse O'Brien (West Hartford, Conn.) scored the goals for the Friars.

-Vaza opened the scoring for the Friars early in the first half with a header. O'Brien and
Gevork Diarbian (Cranston, R.I.) were awarded the assists.
-Diarbian earned his second assist of the game following a pass to McSorley who found the back of the net.

Afonso Serrano made his NCAA collegiate debut late in the first half.
-McSorley scored his second goal of the game late in the second half from a header off Messer's corner kick. It was McSorley's team-leading sixth goal of the season.
-O'Brien found his second goal late the game following a long-pass from
