Gevork Diarbian Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Diarbian scored his first goal of the year against No.3 Akron.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Senior forward Gevork Diarbian (Cranston, R.I.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, Sept. 18.
Diarbian scored his first goal of the season against No.3 Akron on Sept. 15. His one-touch finish in the 31st minute came off the cross of freshman Pearse O'Brien. This is the second time Diarbian was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, previously receiving the award on Nov. 3, 2022.
The Friars return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 19 for an ocean state match-up against Brown at 7:00 p.m. on the Stevenson-Pincince Field.
