PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's soccer team fell to Columbia, 1-0, on Saturday, Sept. 16 in Providence, R.I. It marks the Friars' first loss of the season at home on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. Providence dropped to 5-2 on the season overall, while Columbia improved to 6-1-1. The Friars will begin BIG EAST play Thursday, September 21 against Seton Hall at home.
