Women's Tennis Downs Holy Cross, 7-0, On Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's tennis team defeated Holy Cross on Senior Day, 7-0, at the Providence College Tennis Courts  on Saturday (April 15). Providence finishes the regular season at 4-11 in dual match play entering next week's BIG EAST Championships in Cayce, S.C. (April 18-20).

The Friars cruised through doubles play as Vannelie Melendez/Katie Mulvey, Lauren Carson/Julia Migliorini and Elisa Davalos/Emmie Lindholm earned decisive victories. In singles play, Mulvey, Migliorini, Melendez, Carson and Mae Abreu captured straight-set victories. Lindholm earned a victory in a third set tiebreaker to complete the sweep for Providence.
