Women's Tennis Falls to Butler in BIG EAST Championship, 4-0

CAYCE, S.C. - The No. 10 seed Providence College women's tennis team fell to No. 7 seed Butler University in the BIG EAST Quarterfinals on Thursday (April 20) in Cayce, S.C. The Friars finished the spring dual match season at 4-12.

The Bulldogs claimed the doubles point, earning victories in the No. 3 and No. 1 slots. Butler clinched the match with singles wins out of the No. 4, 5 and 1 slots. Julia Migliorini held a 4-2 lead in the first set of her match before her opponent, Delaney Schurhamer, rallied for a 6-4 win the set.
