PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches this weekend against Brown (Feb. 4) and Colgate (Feb. 5). The Friars fall to 0-3 overall in the spring dual match season.
On Saturday, Brown claimed the match 7-0 while earning straight-set victories in all of their matches. On Sunday against Colgate, the duos of

Darah Ross secured the doubles for the Friars to begin the match. Colgate responded by winning five-of-six singles matches to secure the team victory. Melendez scored Providence's lone singles win with a 6-1, 6-4 win over her opponent.
The Friars are back to work on Saturday, Feb. 11 against Babson College at 4:30 p.m. The match will be played at TRI West Bay in Warwick, R.I.
