Avery Snead Named To The NEWISA Senior Bowl

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College senior women's soccer student-athlete Avery Snead was selected to the 2023 NEWISA Senior Bowl. The NEWISA Senior Bowl brings together players from NCAA Division I, II and III colleges in New England for one final game following the conclusion of their last collegiate season. This year, the NEWISA Senior Bowl will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 12 p.m. at Clark University's Granger Athletic Complex in Worcester, Mass.

Snead, a two-time All-BIG EAST Second Team selection, tallied one goal and helped lead the Friars' defense to seven shutouts, during the 2023 season. She was a key player on the back line registering 1,729 minutes. The Friars qualified for the NCAA Tournament during two of her four seasons with the program.
