PROVIDENCE, R.I. -The Providence College women's volleyball team is set to host St. John's and Seton Hall this weekend. The Friars will face the Red Storm on Friday, November 3 at 6:00 p.m. and the Pirates on Saturday, November 4 at 4:00 p.m.

SCOUTING PROVIDENCE (8-16, 2-10 BIG EAST)
- The Friars enter the weekend with an 8-16 overall record, including a 2-10 mark in the BIG EAST Conference.
- The Friars are coming off back-to-back losses against Marquette (3-0) in Milwaukee, Wis. and DePaul (3-1) in Chicago, Ill.

Miller McDonald (Dallas, Texas) leads the team in assists (471) and double-doubles (3).

Lyric Berry (Wylie, Texas) has been another formidable defensive presence at the net and leads the team in solo blocks (23), to go along with 50 block assists.

Savannah Ivie (Frisco, Texas) leads the Friars in digs (261), averaging 2.93 per set.
- The Friars' roster features seven freshman.
- Nine of the 14 players on the roster are from the state of Texas.
SCOUTING ST. JOHN'S (18-6, 10-2 BIG EAST)
- The Red Storm enter the weekend with an 18-6 overall record, including a 10-2 mark in BIG EAST play.
- St. John's is currently in third place in the BIG EAST standings.
- The Red Storm defeated No. 25 Marquette (3-2) on October 14.
- St. John's ranks in the top-five in the BIG EAST in four major statistical categories. The Red Storm rank fourth in hitting percentage (.217), fourth in assists per set (12.14), third in kills per set (12.96) and second in service aces per set (1.63).
- Erin Jones ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in kills per set (3.57) and points per set (3.99).
- Wiktoria Kowalczyk ranks first in the BIG EAST in service aces per set (.45) and fifth in assists per set (9.34).
- Rashan Solano Smith ranks fifth in the BIG EAST in digs per set, averaging 3.93.

- The Pirates enter the weekend with a 11-12 overall record and 5-7 mark in the BIG EAST Conference.
- Seton Hall is currently in seventh place in the BIG EAST.
- Most recently, Seton Hall defeated Butler (3-2) on Friday, October 27 and lost to Xavier (3-1) on Saturday, October 28.
- Madeline Matheny leads the Pirates in kills (237) and kills per set (3.0).
- Maddie Klungel has a team-high 439 assists for.
- Anna Holland leads the team in digs, with 208 followed by teammate Rylee Nelson who has recorded 207.
- Hanna Tulli leads Seton Hall's defense with 75 blocks.
