Lyric Berry Named To BIG EAST Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Berry recorded 12 blocks over two matches this week as the Friars posted a 2-0 mark.
NEW YORK, N.Y. - It was announced today, October 9, that Providence College freshman middle blocker Lyric Berry (Frisco, Texas) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Berry helped lead the Friars to a 2-0 mark over the weekend with wins at Georgetown (3-2) on October 6 and at Villanova (3-2) on October 7. The freshman started off the weekend with seven blocks and eight kills against Georgetown. She then went on to add another five blocks and nine kills, hitting .467 in the Friars' win against Villanova.
WHATS NEXT… Next week the Friars host Butler on Friday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m. and host Xavier Saturday, October 14 at 3:00 p.m.
