PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College senior goalkeeper
Lukas Burns (Cinnaminson, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, Oct. 9.
Burns has played all 990 minutes for the Friars this season, posting four shutouts, three of which came in the last three contests. This past week, Burns kept the sheet clean for Providence, recording two saves in the 1-0 win versus Siena College on Oct. 3, and another two saves in a 0-0 tie at St. John's on Oct. 7.
Providence College men's soccer will return to action when it hosts No. 8 Georgetown on Saturday, Oct. 14 on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 7:00p.m.
