PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The USTFCCCA released its latest Regional and National Coaches' Poll on Sept. 20. The Providence College women's cross country team is ranked No. 1 in the Northeast Region and 15th in the nation. The Friar men's cross country team remains ranked fifth in the Northeast Region and is receiving votes in the national poll.
The Providence College men's and women's cross-country teams were off last week. In their last meet, at the Friar Invitational in Attleboro, Mass. on Sept. 9, the Friar women finished first out of five teams after scoring 23 points. The men finished second of six teams (37 points).
The Friar men and women toe the line next in Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, September 30 at the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational.
