Lilly Tuck Named BIG EAST Female Athlete Of The Week

Tuck finished first overall at the Friar Invitational for the women's race.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced on Tuesday, Sept. 13 that Providence College senior Lilly Tuck (Sunderland, Canada) was named BIG EAST Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week. Tuck earned the honor after winning the Friar Invitational in Attleboro, Mass. on Friday, Sept. 9.
Tuck earned the cross country honor after helping the Friar women finish in first place at the Friar Invitational. The senior kept pace among the top runners and finished the 5k run in first place in a time of 17:16.42. Tuck finished the race 40 seconds ahead of her time at last year's Friar Invitational.
The Friars are back in action on Friday, Sept. 30 in Bethlehem, PA for the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational.
