Liam Back (New Plymouth, New Zealand) was named the Men's BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Friar Invitational on Friday, Apr. 8.
Back won the mile at the Friar Invitational, setting a personal best with the first sub-four minute mile of his career in 3:59.06. Back's time was the first sub-four mile at the
Ray Treacy Track Facility, besting the previous record by 4.19 seconds.
The Providence College men's and women's teams will be back in action on Thursday, April 28 at the Penn Relays.
