Providence College Women’s Hockey Ranked No.10 In Latest National Poll

The Friars are currently 15-4-1 overall and 11-3-1 in Hockey East play.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's hockey team claimed the No.10 position in the most recent USCHO Division I National Poll, as announced on Monday, Dec. 5.
 
Since the last USCHO Poll, the Friars swept Merrimack College, 4-2, on Friday, Dec. 2. On Saturday, Dec. 3 the Friars defeated the Warriors again, 4-1. Freshman Cristina Cavaliere (Mississauga, Ontario) scored her first career goal on Friday, Dec. 2. Freshman Mégane Quirion (Saint-Eustache, Quebec) also had a big game with setting a new career-high of three assists in one game.
 
UP NEXT
The Friars will face No.3 Quinnipiac University for a home-and-home series on Friday, Dec. 9 at Schneider Arena and Saturday, Dec. 10 in Hamden, Conn.
