PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 10 Providence College women's hockey team lost to the No. 14 UConn Huskies, 2-1, on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Noemi Neubauerova scored the lone goal for the Friars.

-The Friars' Noemi Neubauerova (Prague, Czech Republic) started off with a goal 13:28 into the first period. Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden) and Ida Press (Uppsala, Sweden) were each credited with an assist. The Friars led 1-0 heading into the first intermission.
-Both teams skated through second period scoreless.
