The show will air from 6-7 p.m. on 630 WPRO and 99.7 FM.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The fourth Ed Cooley Radio Show of the season will air from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 3. The show will air on NewsTalk 99.7 FM and AM 630 WPRO. The show is hosted by the long-time voice of the Friars John Rooke and will feature interviews with the Friars' Quante Berry, NCAA's Senior Vice President of Basketball Dan Gavitt and WPRO's Kevin McNamara. The show also can be streamed online at www.997wpro.com and https://thevarsitynetwork.com/audioapplink/source/oas-1499. The show will also be available on WPRO's podcast website after airing at https://www.997wpro.com/podcasts/.
The Friars defeated Assumption, 99-57, in their final exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion. Providence will open the 2022-23 season at home on Tuesday, Nov. 8 versus Rider at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I. at 6:30 p.m. and it will be televised on FS1. Following the Rider game, the Friars will host Northeastern on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8:00 p.m. on FS2 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I.
On Wednesday, November 16, the Ed Cooley Radio Show will be live from Audi Warwick from 6-7 p.m. Fans are welcome to attend. There will be food and refreshments provided.
