No. 13 Women’s Hockey Falls To No. 6 Northeastern, 4-1

The Friars are now 4-1-0 in Hockey East play.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 13 women's hockey team fell to the No. 6 Northeastern Huskies, 4-1, on Friday, Oct. 28 at Schneider Arena. Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.) scored the lone goal for the Friars.

-Northeastern struck first 13:44 into the first period when Lily Brazis assisted Peyton Anderson to a goal.
 
-Two minutes later Northeastern's Chloe Aurard scored, 2-0, with help from Tory Mariano and Alina Mueller.
 
-Northeastern took a 3-1 lead in the second period when Mia Brown scored a goal at the 4:37 mark. Peyton Anderson and Lily Brazis earned the assists.
 
-Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.) recorded the lone goal for the Friars 16:01 into the second period, 3-1. Tyo was assisted by Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden).
 
-Northeastern returned with the final goal of the night at 19:12 in the second period. Katy Knoll assisted Maude Poulin-Labelle to the goal, 4-1.
 
-Both teams skated through the final period scoreless.

-Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) finished the night with 29 saves.
