DURHAM, NH – The No. 13 women's hockey team defeated the University of New Hampshire, 4-1, on Friday, Oct. 21 in Durham, NH.
Kayla Kutes (Kirkland, Wa.) scored her first-career goal for the Friars.
GAME FLOW & NOTES
-The Friars scored first at the 11:54 mark.
Hunter Barnett (Caledon, Ontario) was assisted by
Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) to give the Friars a 1-0 edge over the Wildcats.
-The Friars outshot the Wildcats 10-6 on during the first period.

Noemi Neubauerova (Prague, Czech Republic) netted her first goal of the season and the Friars' second of the day at the 10:45 mark.
Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden) and
Lindsay Bochna (Toronto, Ontario) assisted on the goal.
-During a power play,
Ida Press (Uppsala, Sweden) and
Lily Hendrikson (Edina, Minn.) assisted on
Reichen Kirchmair's (Oakville, Ontario) goal to give Providence a 3-0 lead.
-At the end of the second period, the Friars retained the 3-0 lead over the Wildcats.
- Kira Juodikis scored the Wildcats' first goal of the day 6:37 into the third with help from Emily Pinto.
-At the 17:51 mark, UNH pulled their goalie for the extra skater.
-Clark fed
Kayla Kutes the puck to score her first-career goal into an empty net with 1:09 to play.

Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) finished the day with 17 saves. Her shutout streak was snapped at 298:20.
