STORRS, Conn. – The Providence College women's tennis team fell to the UConn Huskies, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon in Storrs, Conn. The Friars drop to 1-8 overall in the 2021 season.
"Julia had a strong showing, playing two long sets against one of the top players in the BIG EAST," said Head Coach
Jakob Klaeson. "At the end of the day, you just have to tip your cap to UConn on a well-played match."
Providence is back in action on Sunday, April 18 (1 p.m.) at home against St. John's.
