-The Friars jumped on the board first with a goal from
Bailey Burton (Bloomington, Minn.) with a partial breakaway at 5:24. Burton was assisted by
Brooke Becker.
-The remainder of the first period was scoreless and Providence went into the first intermission up 1-0.
-Boston College answered with a goal at the halfway point in the second period from Savannah Norcross (9:53). The Friars and Eagles went into the second intermission tied 1-1.
-The third period was scoreless on both ends and the teams entered overtime.
-Cayla Barnes closed out the game in overtime, 2-1, with her third goal of the season.
