Lukas Burns Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Burns made posted his fifth shutout of the season in the Friars' only game of the week.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced today that sophomore goalkeeper Lukas Burns (Cinnaminson, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after making two saves and posting his fifth shutout of the season in the 18th-ranked Friars' 0-0 tie with Villanova on Saturday, Oct. 30 in Providence.
Burns has started all 15 of the team's games this season, posting a 9-2-4 mark with a 0.89 goals against average and a .754 save percentage.
The Friars are in second place in league standings with 18 points with a 9-2-4 mark overall and a 5-1-3 record in BIG EAST play.
Providence will conclude the regular season with a game at Creighton on Wednesday, November 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
