SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Providence College women's swimming and diving team fell to Bryant in dual-meet action, 178-122, at Taylor Natatorium in Providence, R.I. Five different Friars placed first in their respective events.
Sami Martin paced the competition in the 800-meter free style by more than seven seconds, touching the wall in 9:31.45. The second-place finisher from Bryant completed the event in 9:39.15.

The Friars swept the top-three spots in the 100-meter breaststroke and were led by
Kathryn Presley's time of 1:18.28.
Julia McCarthy (1:18.93) and
Hannah Weber (1:19.06) took home second and third place, respectively.

Elisia Pagliuca was the top finisher in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 2:29.50.

Grace Erickson joined the list of individual winners, as she cruised to a first-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle. She completed the event in 4:36.67, which was over two-seconds clear of her next competitor.

Liliana Dimmig led the field in the 100-yard butterfly in the meet, taking first with a time of 1:07.56.
