LATHAM, N.Y. - The Providence College women's tennis team fell to Siena, 5-2, at Tri-City Fitness in Latham, N.Y. on Sunday. The Friars dropped to 1-2 overall in dual match play this spring. The duo of
Julia Migliorini and
Haley Gurski took the No. 1 match in doubles by a 6-4 score, but Siena claimed the other two matches along with the doubles point. In singles play,
Katie Mulvey rallied to win her match after dropping the first set, taking the second set 6-0 and the third set 11-9.
Providence is back in action at home on Saturday (Feb. 22) at 3:15 p.m. against Fairfield.
