Women's Tennis Falls to LIU, 7-0

LATHAM, N.Y. - The Providence College women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to LIU at Tri-City Fitness in Latham, N.Y. on Saturday. The Friars fell to 1-1 overall in dual match play this spring. Freshmen Julia Migliorini and Brenna Magliochetti battled hard in forcing a third set in each of their singles matches before ultimately falling in the decisive set. LIU claimed the doubles point by virtue of 6-3 wins out of the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles slots.

Providence is back in action on Sunday (Feb. 16) at 10:00 a.m. against Siena.
