Providence Men’s Basketball Announces Remaining 2020-21 BIG EAST Schedule

The Friars will play 15 games to finish out conference play.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence men's basketball team's remaining 2020-21 BIG EAST schedule was announced today (December 14). The Friars will play 15 conference games from late December to early March to finish up regular season play. Tip-off times and television coverage are being determined and will be announced soon.
 
The Friars' home games include Butler (Wednesday, Dec. 30), Creighton (Saturday, Jan. 2), Georgetown (Saturday, Jan. 16), Marquette (Wednesday, Jan. 27), Seton Hall (Wednesday, Feb. 3), St. John's (Saturday, Feb. 6) and Villanova (Saturday, March 6).
 
The squad will play eight road games from January to March. The Friars will play at Xavier (Sunday, Jan. 10), Marquette (Tuesday, Jan. 12), Creighton (Wednesday, Jan. 20), Villanova (Saturday, Jan. 23), Georgetown (Wednesday, Jan. 30), DePaul (Saturday, Feb. 13), Connecticut (Tuesday, Feb. 16) and St. John's (Wednesday, March 6).
 
Due to expected challenges by the pandemic, the schedule for February is lighter than usual with room for possible re-scheduled games.
