PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence men's swimming & diving team was defeated by Brown, 260-102, at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
The meet was a Pentathlon format of the 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 50 freestyle. Each individual competed in all five events with the goal of achieving the lowest overall combined time.
Sophomore
Andrew Ferrell (Atlanta, Ga.) led the Friars with a combined time of 5:01.48.
The Friars travel to Puerto Rico on Thursday for winter training camp and then the men's team returns to Taylor Natatorium on Saturday, Jan. 12 to take on the Villanova Wildcats.
