GAME FLOW & NOTES
- Duke opened up the scoring with a goal in the 24
th minute. Ella Stevens played a ball in over the back line where Taylor Racioppi settled it and finished a shot far post past
Shelby Hogan (Franklin, Mass.).

Katie Day (East Kensington, N.H.) was assessed a yellow card for the Friars in the 32
nd minute, coming from a tackle about 10 yards outside the 18-yard box.
- Marykate McGuire added to the Blue Devils lead in the 37
th minute with a set piece goal. Karlie Paschall played a ball to the edge of the 6-yard box where Marykate McGuire ran into a one-timer past Hogan inside the far post.
- Duke held a 4-3 shot advantage in the first half.
- The Friars came out aggressive to start the second half as
Hannah McNulty (Warwick, R.I.) tallied two shots in the first two minutes of play.
- The Blue Devils had their most promising chance of the second half in the 54
th minute as Hogan deflected a header from Taylor Mitchell off the crossbar before being cleared out.

Casey Estey (Kensington, N.H.) brought the Friars within one in the 76
th minute. Estey curled in a shot to the upper right corner from the top of the 18-yard box.
- Providence was limited in opportunities for the rest of the game as Duke played for possession. The Friars had one more goal scoring chance in the 83
rd minute on a corner kick that bounced around in the box before being picked up by the Duke goalie, Brook Heinsohn.
- Hogan finished the afternoon with three saves. On the other side, Brook Heinsohn tallied two saves. Duke led the game in shots 13-6.
