Providence College Women's Cross Country Schedule
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College cross country Head Coach
Ray Treacy released the 2018 competition schedule for his men's and women's cross country programs today [July 24]. Both teams will begin their respective seasons at the UNH Dual Meet on Sept. 1 in Durham, N.H.
The Friars will then compete at the Coast-To-Coast Battle In Beantown on Sept. 21 in Boston, Mass., followed by the Wisconsin Invitational on Sept. 28 in Madison, Wis. Both meets traditionally feature strong fields with a number of nationally-ranked programs.
On Oct. 6, Treacy will send representatives of his men's program to Boston, Mass. to participate in the New England Championships.
The men's and women's programs will resume competition at the Central Connecticut State University Mini Meet on Oct. 19 in New Britain, Conn. prior to the start of the championship slate.
The BIG EAST Championships are set for Oct. 27 in Carmel, Ind.
On Nov. 9, Providence College will compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional in Buffalo, N.Y. The top-two teams in each field [men's and women's] will automatically qualify for a spot in the NCAA Championships, held in Madison, Wis. on Nov. 17.
