Reeves will miss 4-6 weeks.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley announced today that freshman guard A.J. Reeves (Roxbury, Mass.) has suffered a foot injury and will miss 4-6 weeks of action.

Reeves, who has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week three times this season, is the leading scorer amongst all freshmen in the BIG EAST, averaging 14.2 points per game.  Reeves ranks first on the Friars in three pointers made (24) and three-point field goal percentage (45.3 percent).

"It's unfortunate that A.J. has to go through this as he has been having a very productive start to his college career," Cooley said.  "However, he is a great person and will use this time to get better and he will continue to support the team."
