The Friars earned a road shutout at Boston University for the first time since 2004.
BOSTON – Brandon Duhaime scored twice and Josh Wilkins added three assists as the sixth-ranked Providence College men's hockey team blanked Boston University, 5-0, on Friday night at Agganis Arena. Hayden Hawkey stopped all 18 shots to earn his second shutout of the season and 10th in his career.

- Jack Dugan tallied his second goal of his career just 58 seconds into the game as he through a puck from behind the net that banked in off Oettinger. Assists went to Wilkins and Desharnais.

- Providence began to carry the play in the second period, out-shooting the Terriers by a 17-5 margin.
- Brandon Duhaime struck for his first of the season at 6:46, ripping a wrist shot of over Oettinger's glove after intercepting a pass in the neutral zone.
