Josh Wilkins added three assists as the sixth-ranked Providence College men's hockey team blanked Boston University, 5-0, on Friday night at Agganis Arena.
Hayden Hawkey stopped all 18 shots to earn his second shutout of the season and 10
th in his career.

Jack Dugan tallied his second goal of his career just 58 seconds into the game as he through a puck from behind the net that banked in off Oettinger. Assists went to Wilkins and Desharnais.
- The Friars killed off three Terrier power plays in the opening period.
- Providence began to carry the play in the second period, out-shooting the Terriers by a 17-5 margin.

Brandon Duhaime struck for his first of the season at 6:46, ripping a wrist shot of over Oettinger's glove after intercepting a pass in the neutral zone.

Spenser Young's third goal of the season. Young one-time a feed from
Josh Wilkins over the shoulder of Oettinger.
- Insurance goals from Duhaime and Kasper Björkqvist in the third period extended the Friar lead to 5-0.
