Kilday is the first Defensive Player of the Week for the Friars this season.

PROVIDENCE, R.I.Steven Kilday (Marshfield, Mass.) of the Providence College men's soccer team was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week today (Oct. 15). Freshman Ramzi Qawasmy (Landsdale, Pa.) was also named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

As part of the defense, he helped limit the Pirates to just five shots, none of which were on goal. Qawasmy also tallied a season-high in shots on Saturday, with three.

Providence travels to Brown for its final non-conference tilt tomorrow (Oct. 16). Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
