Women's Hockey To Host No. 10 Northeastern

Providence will play No. 10 Northeastern on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Schneider Arena.
The match-up will be the first time the Friars have faced a ranked opponent since their season opener against then-No.10 Boston University.

Scouting the Friars

The Friars are led by senior captain Cassidy Carels, who has tallied 18 points in 15 games.
Christina Putigna and Brooke Boquist follow with 17 points each. Putigna has seven goals and 10 assists, while Boquist has 10 goals and seven assists.
Madison Myers leads in net with 10 games played and .915 save percentage.

Keeping the Mayor's Cup

The Friars played Brown in the 22nd annual Mayor's Cup, winning, 7-3.
The win marks the first time either team has been able to claim back-to-back victories since Providence did in 2007 & 2008.
Blair Parent registered her first career hat-tick, the first Friar hat trick since 2013 when Cassidy Carels scored three goals against Maine (Nov. 23, 2013) in her rookie season.
Cassidy MacPherson tallied four assists in the game, three coming on each of Parent's goals.
Danielle Hardy also collected three assists in the game, all three combined with MacPherson.
Parent, MacPherson, and Hardy all registered career highs in the game.
Parent tied the all-time Mayor's Cup single game goals record (3).
MacPherson tied the all-time single game points record (4) also held by Brooke Boquist and Cassidy Carels. MacPherson's four assists also takes the all-time single game assists record.
