PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The women's soccer team will host Seton Hall on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1:00 p.m. in Providence, R.I at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The game will honor the team's seven graduating seniors.The Friars will host the Pirates for their final home game of BIG EAST regular season play. The match will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) via Fox Sports Go.

Scouting the Pirates
The Pirates are 5-9-1 overall and 1-6-0 in BIG EAST play heading into Sunday's match. In their last competition, Seton Hall was defeated by Georgetown University on Oct. 20, 4-0. Senior Frankie Maier leads the Pirates attack with seven points on the season on two goals and three assists. Senior Sarah Cortes has recorded five points on the season on two goals and one assist.
Sophomore goalkeeper Anna MacLean has seen action in 15 games and recorded 76 saves on the season. The goalkeeper ranks third in the BIG EAST with a 1.58 goals against average and second with a 0.760 save percentage.
Scouting the Friars
The Friars enter Sunday's contest at 10-5-2 overall and 4-2-1 in BIG EAST play. The Friars second loss in BIG EAST play came on Oct. 20 against DePaul University, 2-1.
Graduate student Kathryn Hiller (Dartmouth, Mass.) continues to lead the Friars' attack with 17 points on eight goals and one assist. Rachel Ugolik (Hamden, Conn.) posts 15 points on the season with six goals and three assists.
Goalkeeper Kristyn Shea (Piscataway, N.J.) has appeared in all 17 games with an overall record of 10-5-2. The senior has recorded a BIG EAST high of 82 saves over the course of 1604:57 minutes of play. Shea posts a 0.90 goals against average and a .837 save percentage on the season.

Oct. 17: Graduate student Kathryn Hiller (Dartmouth, Mass.) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after scoring the game winning overtime goal over Creighton on Oct. 15.
Oct. 3: Senior goalkeeper Kristyn Shea (Piscataway, N.J.) earned her third BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week award of the 2016 season as announced by the league. Shea finished the weekend 2-0, after a win over Xavier University, 2-1, and a 1-0 win over 2015 BIG EAST Champions Butler University.
Sept. 26: Senior goalkeeper Kristyn Shea (Piscataway, N.J.) was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week after a shutout against then-No.6/3 Georgetown University.
Sept. 19: Senior Rachel Ugolik (Hamden, Conn.) was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after a 2-0 weekend with Friar victories over Central Connecticut on Sept. 15 (3-1) and Massachusetts on Sept. 18 (3-0). The forward was tied for most points on the weekend in the BIG EAST on two goals and two assists.
Sept. 5: Senior goalkeeper Kristyn Shea (Piscataway, N.J.) was named BIG EAST goalkeeper of the week after a shutout weekend against both Boston University and Colgate University.
Sept. 5: Junior Juliana Pellegrini (Rockville Centre, N.Y) received BIG EAST honor roll recognition after scoring three of the Friars' seven goals on the weekend.
Aug. 29: Graduate student Kathryn Hiller (Dartmouth, Mass.) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after scoring both of the Friars' goals against Northeastern and Maine, respectively.
Aug. 22: Sophomore Katie Day (East Hampstead, N.H.) earned BIG EAST Honor Roll after notching her first career goal on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute against then, No. 10 Rutgers.
