PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's volleyball team will host St. John's at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 10 at Alumni Hall on the campus of Providence College. The match will be streamed live via Friars All-Access, which is a subscription service provided on the College's athletic website at www.Friars.com

SCOUTING PROVIDENCE COLLEGE: The Providence College Friars enter the match with a 10-9 (1-4 BIG EAST) record on the season. The Friars most recently defeated Seton Hall on Oct. 7, to claim their first BIG EAST win of the season. The Friars battled back to win 3-2. Kayla Johnson (Silver Springs, Md.) collected 11 kills on the match and Nicole Fletcher (Syracuse, N.Y.) added nine. The Friars' attack is led by Kayla Fitzgerald (Redlands, Calif.). Fitzgerald ranks fifth in kills in the BIG EAST, with 234. Michelle Cruz (Midland Park, N.J.) leads the Friars on defense. Cruz has recorded 266 digs on the season and ranks 4th in the BIG EAST.
SCOUTING ST. JOHN'S: The St. John's Red Storm hold a 12-8 overall record (2-3 BIG EAST). The Red Storm fell to Villanova in straight sets on Oct. 7. St. John's is led by Karin Palgutova, who has notched 281 kills and is ranked second in the BIG EAST. Defensively, Delaney D'Amore has collected 223 digs. Deniz Multugil has added 690 assists for St. John's.
