Women's Tennis Defeated, 6-1, By Temple

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Providence College women's tennis team was defeated by Temple on April 6 in Philadelphia, Pa. Sophomore Hannah Zangari (Saunderstown, R.I.) had a standout performance during the match.
In doubles play, Zangari and doubles partner Alana Prinos (Foxborough, Mass.) took the No. 2 match with a win over Yana Mavrina and Anais Nussaume (8-7(5)). It marked the fourth win for the duo this season.
Zangari continued her success into singles play with a win over Nussaume in the No. 5 position (6-1, 6-0). With the win, Zangari moves her overall spring record to 4-5 on the season.
The Friars will return to action with their final home meet of the season. Providence will play host to Sacred Heart on April 9 at 3:00 p.m.
