Men's Soccer to Host NCAA Tournament Second Round

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College men's soccer team will host an NCAA Tournament Second Round Game at 7:00 p.m. at the Ray Treacy Track and Field Complex on Sunday, Nov. 23. The Friars, who earned an 11th seed, will play the winner of the Dartmouth/Fordham First Round game which is to be played tonight (Nov. 20) at 5:00 p.m. in Hanover, N.H.



The Friars captured their first BIG EAST Title on Sunday, Nov. 16 after defeating Xavier, 2-1, in the Championship game in Chester, Pa. Providence earned a bye in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.



General admission tickets for the event are $5 per person and PC students can enter for free with a student ID. Tickets can be purchased at the PC ticket office at Schneider Arena, which is open this Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets also can be purchased online at friars.com and will be available at the gate.



The game also will be televised locally on OSN and streamed on CoxHub Live.
