Women's Cross Country To Compete At BIG EAST Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College women's cross country team will compete at the BIG EAST Championships in Carmel, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 31.



Sophomore Catarina Rocha (Peabody, Mass.) will lead the Friars at the Championships along with the freshman duo of Katie Lembo (Penfield, N.Y.) and this week's USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week Brianna Ilarda (Perth, Australia).



Joining Rocha, Lembo and Ilarda will be seniors Julie Solimine (Haverhill, Mass.) and Caile Kohlbrenner (Sparkill, N.J.).



The juniors in the women's 6km race will be Lauren Mullins (Binghamton, N.Y.), Molly Keating (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Katie Sischo (Jamesville, N.Y.). Freshman Mackenzie Barry (Mendham, N.J.) will also race.



The women's championship race is set to go off at 11:00 a.m. Coverage will be available on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
