Women's Cross Country Ranked 20th In The Nation

Oct. 1, 2014 PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College women's cross country team earned a spot in the national poll announced on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The women earned a 20th –place ranking after their performance at the Coast-to-Coast Battle In Beantown at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. on Sept. 26.

The women are also ranked fourth in the Northeast Region. The Friars have been ranked in the top-20 all season long.

The Friars will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11 for the New England Championships at Franklin Park. Races will commence at 12:00 p.m.
