Catherine Zimmerman Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Monday, Nov. 4, it was announced that Providence College women's soccer forward Catherine Zimmerman (Madison, Conn.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Zimmerman notched the game-winning goal at Villanova on Saturday, Nov. 2. Senior Amanda Webster's (Saugus, Mass.) free kick was finished by Zimmerman in the 25th minute to mark her seventh goal of the season.

Zimmerman finished the season as the Friars' leading scorer with 16 points on a team-best seven goals and two assists.

Providence finished its 2013 season with an overall record of 6-9-3 including a 3-6-0 slate in conference play.
