PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

Providence College women's soccer player, sophomore Allie Walton (Brunswick, Maine) continues to blog about her personal experiences and her team's success in the 2012 season on SoccerBanter.org. Walton returns from a successful freshman campaign where she helped the Friars reach the BIG EAST Tournament for the first time since 1994. Earlier this summer, she won Region I and finished in 2nd place at the USYSA National Championship as a member of the Scorpions Soccer Club U19 team.

The Friars are currently four games into their 2012 season and own a record of 1-2-1. On Friday, August 31, the Friars take on the Lehigh Mountain Hawks at 4:00 p.m in Providence, R.I. on Glay Field.
