Providence College Diving Competes At The BIG EAST Championships

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Providence College diving team continued its strong performance at the BIG EAST Diving Championships hosted by the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday, February 12.
Junior Ben Kardian (Valhalla, N.Y.) collected 204.60 points in the preliminary round and followed that with 234.35 points in the consolation round, placing him fourteenth overall. Earlier in the weekend junior Allie Black (Mystic, Conn.) placed sixteenth in the 1m diving event with 216.50 points.
The BIG EAST Diving Championships concludes on Sunday, February 12. The University of Pittsburgh will also host the BIG EAST Championships for Swimming beginning Wednesday, February 15 and run through Saturday, February 18.
