Jenna Roncarati Selected To Compete In NEWISA Senior Bowl

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - On Monday, Nov. 19, Providence College women's soccer player Jenna Roncarati(Cumberland, R.I.) was selected to compete in the 2012 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) annual Senior Bowl.
Roncarati will be teaming up with the best players from New England to compete in the match. She received the most votes out of all the NEWISA selctions for the fullback position.
For four years Roncarati served as the back bone of the Friars' defense. In her senior campaign, Roncarati started all 18 games and helped the Friars to an overall record of 8-9-1 (3-7-0 BIG EAST). She led the Friars to three shutout victories and limited opponents to 11.8 shots per game.The senior defender recorded one point on the year on an assist in the Friars' 3-1 victory over Army (8/19).
Merimack College will host the Division I NEWISA Senior Bowl on Sunday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m.
